OUR OBJETIVE
The Aspen Colombia Initiative was established in 2020 with the goal of offering Colombians the benefits of more than 70 years of experience and impact of the Aspen Institute around the world. In a very short time and with very satisfactory results, forums and seminars have been held to discuss issues relevant to the national reality, where people of diverse opinions have met to debate, compare visions, seek common values, find points of convergence, or at the very least, understand the nature of the divergences.

Why?
Aspen Institute is a recognized platform with more than 70 years of experience, bringing together leaders from different contexts and encouraging them to develop initiatives that contribute to building a good society.

It is a safe and non-partisan space, where Colombian leaders can share and listen to divergent perspectives, marked by constructive and pragmatic conversations.
For what?
In Colombia there are scenarios where leaders meet, but they usually end up being congregations of individuals who think the same way, without having spaces for diversity. As a consequence, there is no real impact beyond the conference room.
How?
Through the use of a proven method, he leads leaders with deferring points of view to have practical conversations.
The Aspen Institute Colombia Initiative is not a truth imposed from outside.
IAC comes to Colombia as a response and an alternative to meet the need to establish a safe space where leaders can have complex and divergent conversations that have an impact beyond the conference room.
